According to the mag, four sources independently confirmed that the Yankees slugger’s name appears on a list of 104 players who tested positive in Major League Baseball’s survey that year.

Alex Rodriguez, Wife Reach Divorce Settlement

Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and wife Cynthia have settled their multimillion-dollar divorce case, the New York Daily News reported Thursday.

“Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez have amicably resolved their dissolution of marriage proceedings,” the player’s lawyer, Alan Kluger, said on the newspaper’s Web site.

“They deliberately engaged in a private negotiation. This was and remains a personal family matter for both of them.”

The wife of Alex Rodriguez wants to know if the New York Yankees star hired private detectives or installed wiretaps to spy on her.

Cynthia Rodriguez’s lawyers demanded evidence of any such surveillance as part of a routine request filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court last week in their divorce case.

Alex Rodriguez Reunites With Wife, Daughter

Alex Rodriguez met with his estranged wife, Cynthia, and the couple’s oldest daughter, Natasha, on Friday, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The meeting took place at a hotel in Toronto, where Alex is in town as his New York Yankees play the Toronto Blue Jays.

It is the first time A-Rod saw his wife or his three-year-old daughter since the couple split earlier this month.

While Alex Rodriguez’s wife may have just filed for divorce, a friend of Alex’s confirms to Access Hollywood the couple’s relationship has been floundering for quite some time.

The friend tells Access that the couple has had a number of unspecified issues, which could not be resolved and although Cynthia may have been the one to file, Alex feels it’s best if they both separate and get on with their lives.

And while the Yankees superstar is expected to answer his soon-to-be-ex wife’s divorce petition in the next few days, the friend told Access A-Rod is “very depressed” about being kept from his kids.

Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez and his wife have split less than three months after the birth of the couple’s second daughter, according to a report in the New York Daily News.

The story on the newspaper’s Web site comes amid reports linking Rodriguez to Madonna. Rodriguez refused to address the topic on three occasions Tuesday, once saying “no” when asked if he had any comment.
