Country singer Charles Kelley of the Grammy nominated trio Lady Antebellum is engaged to his girlfriend of two years Cassie McConnell, his rep has confirmed to Access Hollywood.

Kelley is the younger brother of singer / songwriter Josh Kelley, who is married to actress Katherine Heigl.

Lady Antebellum is nominated for Best New Artist at the 2009 Grammy Awards.

And I’ve stuck with them through their highs (which include their albums “Fly” and “Home”) and their lows (including the fallout from those infamous twelve words Natalie Maines uttered about President Bush at a 2003 London concert).

But that was well over five years ago. A lot has changed since then… in our country and in the trio’s careers. They are older, wiser, and still unwavering.

Now, they’re out with a new single, “Lucky Ones.”

John Rich and longtime girlfriend Joan Bush tied the knot on Saturday night, the star’s rep confirmed to People.

Rich, 34, is half of country duo Big & Rich and the host of CMT’s “Gone Country.” According to People, he and Joan, a former model who now runs an agency, had quietly dated for over five years before saying their vows, avoiding joint appearances at events or red carpets.

Dixie Chicks Singer Sued For Defamation

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.

Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines is the target of a defamation lawsuit by the stepfather of one of three 8-year-old boys slain in 1993.

Maines spoke out for three people convicted of the slayings and alleged the stepfather was instead involved in the killings.

Terry Hobbs, stepfather of Steve Branch, who was killed in 1993 with Christopher Byers and Michael Moore, filed suit in Pulaski County Circuit Court on Nov. 25. The suit names all three members of the Dixie Chicks, but focuses on Maines.
