Pregnant Kelly Rutherford Files For Divorce

LOS ANGELES, Calif.

“Gossip Girl” actress Kelly Rutherford has filed for divorce from her husband – while pregnant with the couple’s second child.

According to People, the star is splitting from German businessman Daniel Giersch due to “irreconcilable differences.” She reportedly filed for divorce on December 30, 2008, with Daniel filing for legal separation the same day.

“Gossip Girl” star Chace Crawford will appear in Leona Lewis’ next video, according to People.

The actor, who plays Nate Archibald on the popular CW drama, filmed a part in the video for Leona’s single, “I Will Be” on Thursday in New York, the mag reported. And, Chace’s role isn’t just a simple cameo.

‘Gossip Girl’ Spin-Off In The Works For CW

The Upper East Side may be about to branch out.

The CW wants to launch a “Gossip Girl” spin-off next season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Nothing really tangible yet, but we’re talking about it,” CW entertainment president Dawn Ostroff said. “If it’s the right idea, we’d all embrace it and be enthusiastic.”

Meanwhile, Variety reported the network may use a “Gossip Girl” episode later this season to launch the spin-off storyline.
