Rap music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight is facing a March court date in Las Vegas following his arrest on a 2009 traffic warrant and a new misdemeanor drug charge, authorities said Thursday.
The former Death Row Records executive, 46, was stopped driving a black Bentley with California license plates about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on a street just off Flamingo Road west of the Las Vegas Strip, Officer Laura Meltzer said.

Melanie Amaro may have landed a $5 million recording contract after winning “The X Factor,” but the talent competition has produced deals for several of her former competitors.
Second runner up Chris Rene, as well as Top 10 finalists — R&B crooner Marcus Canty and teenage hip hop star Astro — have signed with Epic Records (also Melanie’s label), the imprint announced on Wednesday.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif.
The rapper known as “Tyler, the Creator,” has been arrested after authorities say he got rowdy after a show at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s Sgt. Arthur Famble Jr. says the rapper was arrested Thursday night after he destroyed the Sunset Strip nightclub’s electronic soundboard.
