Larry Hagman said his recent cancer diagnosis hasn’t kept him from being a full part of the “Dallas” reboot coming to TNT this summer.
“They gave me a little time off, but in this business, you can shoot three or four shows at the same time,” Hagman told reporters on Saturday at the Television Critics Association Winter Session in Pasadena, Calif.
It was one of the biggest television moments of all time when Bobby Ewing appeared in a shower on “Dallas” in May 1986, returning to life as the show rolled back an entire season via Pam Ewing’s dream. And no one is happier than actress Brenda Strong, who plays the legendary TV character’s new wife in the upcoming TNT reboot.
Some of the biggest names in TV history are heading back to “Dallas,” 20 years after they first said goodbye, but don’t expect Sue Ellen Ewing to have settled into life as a lounging wealthy senior citizen when the show returns.
