LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Mandy Moore attends H&M’s Divided Exclusive Collection launch partyCaption Mandy Moore attends H&M’s Divided Exclusive Collection launch partyMandy Moore may be one of Hollywood’s most beautiful stars, but the newlywed told People on Thursday that she’s proud of presenting “something different” than red-carpet glamour.

“I can’t roll out of bed and look that way,” the singer-actress told the mag. “You have professionals who make you look a certain way. I’m very comfortable with the way that I look, but it’s not fair for women to use someone or something as a bar. It’s not reality, for anyone. I am happy to be myself and represent something different for women.”

And the star, whose new album, “Amanda Leigh,” is due in stores next week, said she doesn’t skimp on the sweets to stay thin.

“If I really want something, I don’t feel like it’s worth it to deprive myself,” she said, adding that she doesn’t worry about her weight.

“I appreciate when there are other women out there who are beautiful and aren’t, you know, a pound,” Mandy said. “I feel lucky that I don’t feel pressure … to have my whole life be controlled by whether I fit into a certain size.”

Still, there’s one thing she’s not always happy with – her hips.

“I still have a love-hate relationship with them,” she said. “I’m not a swizzle stick – I’m not 14 anymore.”
