Report: Supermodel Karen Mulder Being Held By Police In France

The 39-year-old blonde, who in the ‘90s ruled fashion catwalks alongside Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Kate Moss, is alleged to have made “vicious telephone calls” to her French surgeon, Britain’s Telegraph newspaper reported.

“There were repeated calls to the female surgeon who was extremely scared. The suspect is being interviewed,” a detective told the paper.

Mulder, who hails from the Netherlands, was reportedly “screaming and shouting” about an operation and asked for it to be reversed.

The supermodel previously admitted to suffering from depression. In December 2002, the U.K.‘s Hello magazine reported she was recovering after overdosing on sleeping pills.
