It was an emotional night for soul singer Bobby Brown as he performed hours after learning that his ex-wife Whitney Houston had died in Beverly Hills.

Police Capture Escapee Convicted Of Stalking Madonna

Robert Dewey Hoskins, convicted of stalking and making criminal threats against singing star Madonna, has walked away from a State mental hospital and is being sought on February 9, 2012

LOS ANGELES, Calif.

Police captured a man on Friday who was convicted of threatening to kill Madonna and walked away from a Los Angeles-area mental hospital last week.

Robert Dewey Hoskins was apprehended shortly before 9 a.m. in Long Beach, where authorities believed he might have fled following his escape from the Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, about eight miles away, police said in a statement. Initially, Los Angeles police said Hoskins was caught near the hospital where he escaped last Friday.
