The White House is opening its doors in an invitation to the blues.

Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger, B.B. King and Keb Mo are among an A-list of artists who will perform at the White House Feb. 21 to celebrate blues music and recognize Black History Month.

Shirley MacLaine is joining the cast of runaway PBS hit “Downton Abbey,” ITV and Carnival Films confirmed on Monday.

The legendary actress and Oscar winner will play Martha Levinson, the American-born mother of Elizabeth McGovern’s Lady Grantham.

Move over, Grover! One of the NFL’s top passers is heading to “Sesame Street.”

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is making a special appearance on Thursday’s episode of the educational children’s TV show. He visited the set a few months ago to record the segment, which co-stars the street’s furry red resident, Elmo.

The “Saturday Night Live” star who perfected his character as “President George W. Bush” and later took his presidential act to Broadway is receiving the nation’s top humor prize in Washington.

Comedians and performers including Jack Black and Conan O’Brien will honor Will Ferrell on Sunday night with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
