From Mariah Carey to John Mayer, the stars hit their Twitter accounts in droves on Saturday to share their well wishes for America’s Independence Day.
“Happy 4th of July..Celebrate Life!” Mariah wrote on Saturday afternoon.
“America, since it’s your birthday, you just lie on the couch. I’ll make you flapjacks. Today is your day. I am so happy to be your girl! XOX,” John Mayer Tweeted.
“Happy bday [America]. You did some weird things back in ur teenage years. But u turned out awesome. Roman candles I ur honor tonight! Happy 4th,” Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz wrote.
Kim Kardashian and Sean “Diddy” Combs simply wished their Twitter followers a “Happy 4th of July,” while other stars used their 140 characters count limit to let their fans in on their plans and Independence Day revelations.
“Confession: I’m afraid of fireworks. Ignite a single cherry bomb and I’m under the bed like a Labrador,” “Juno” screenwriter Diablo Cody wrote.
“What a way to spend a hot day! Lake is perfect! The smell of BBQ everywhere-happy 4th of July America! Hope u all r having the best one!” singer Jewel Tweeted.
And Rachelle Lefevre from the “Twilight” series shared her news from the Portland PGE where she was playing “Vampire Baseball.”
“Getting ready to take the [field] soon. everyone looks awesome! hope we play as well!!” she wrote.
