Russell Crowe: ‘I Have Retail-Therapy Issues’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
One of Russell Crowe’s greatest passions is not what you’re expecting. The actor is a self-proclaimed shopping ninja.
The star of “American Gangster” told “Men’s Journal” in their November issue, “I love going shopping. I have a black belt in it. My wife [Danielle] really appreciates that in me. Whatever you need, mate, I’ll get it,” according to a report in People.
The actor says he’s able to predict what his wife will buy before she does.
“I can pick out the first nine things my wife would like to try on,” said Crowe.
Crowe says he enjoys shopping as a way to relax.
“I have retail-therapy issues. But I am cool with that. I shop with a big smile on my face.”
His shopping skills are not just limited to high-end stores and boutiques . The actor is also able to lend his shopping prowess to the less than glamorous types of shopping.
“I can do the supermarket in six minutes,” Crowe concluded.
