Glam Slam: Makeup Mondays — ‘New Moon’ On Monday

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption ‘Twilight’ — Ashley Greene as Alice/Kristen Stewart as Bella“New Moon” opens Friday, but if you are a die-hard Twi-hard, you didn’t need me to tell you that, you bought your tickets months ago! The “Twilight” series has a gazillion fans pledging their undying loyalty to either Team Edward or Team Jacob, but let’s not forget about the ladies.

The saga has inspired Twilight Beauty, a collection of cosmetics ranging in price from $9 - 34 and available at www.twilightbeauty.com.

Twilight Beauty Makeup Artist Jason Garner tells us how to achieve Bella and Ashley’s big screen looks.

BELLA LOOK: NATURAL BEAUTY To achieve Bella’s barely-there beauty, use shades of peach, pink and nude for an innocent look.

FACE/CHEEKS:To get Bella’s fresh face, apply a thin layer of tinted moisturizer on clean skin, like Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer in Nude ($42). Dot concealer (DuWop Circle Block in Light, $28) under eyes and anywhere skin needs perfecting. To emulate the flush to Bella’s cheeks after a cold day in the forest with Edward, swirl together Luna Twilight’s Mortal Glow Blushing Crème in Adrenaline ($22), which is a blend of warm and cool pinks and apply to the apples of your cheeks.

EYES:Bella’s chocolate eyes do all the talking, so keep this makeup simple. Layer the two nude shadows in Luna Twilight’s Bella Palette ($28) in the contour of the eye, the lighter shade close to the lash-line, the darker shade in the crease. Curl lashes and apply two coats of Luna Twilight’s Gleam Metallic Mascara in Panther ($22), a chrome black, for a rich shimmer.

LIPS:Keeping it natural is enough to draw Edward in for a forbidden kiss. Luna Twilight’s Just Bitten Staining Balm in Eye Candy ($18) is a delicate pink, which provides a rosy tint to stun your own suitor. Top lips with Femme Fatale Lip Gloss in Drizzle ($20) for a silver sparkle.

EXTRA TIP:Wear Volturi Reign Scented Body Mist in Romance ($18) to recreate the floral scent that drove Edward mad.

ALICE LOOK: ETHEREAL BEAUTY From her sprightly short hair to her mischievous powers, Alice is the spirited counterpart to Bella. Use bright colors and bits of sparkle to reflect this fun-loving vamp’s personality.

FACE:Mix a few drops of Luna Twilight’s First Light Face Glow ($24) with your favorite moisturizer and apply all over your entire face for Alice’s flawless sheen. Skip the blush to rock this pale look.

EYES:To get Alice’s playful look use the shades in Luna Twilight’s Alice Palette ($28), which contains shimmering blue and silver shadows, a rosy blush and sheer hot pink lips. Start by applying the pink blush as a base over the entire eye. For an ethereal touch, the blue shadow is perfect for framing the contours of the eyes and adding dimension, while silver on the lids and corners will brighten the whole eye - making you look as animated and perky as Alice herself. To complete Alice’s pixie persona, curl lashes and apply two coats of navy mascara, like Volturi Crown Metallic Mascara in Royal Blue ($16).
