Fox Searchlight Offers ‘(500) Treats Of Summer’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Moviegoers looking forward to the sweet pairing of Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in “(500) Days Of Summer” will get an early treat on Sunday, the first day of summer.

A number of vendors in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Boston and Philladelphia are set to give away goodies to the first 500 people who arrive at each location on Sunday to celebrate the indie romantic comedy.

Among them are Pink’s Hot Dogs in LA, the Sausage Guy in Boston, Cupcake Stop and Shake Shack in New York, the Philly Pretzel Factory in Philadelphia, the Crème Brulee Man in San Francisco and Gifford’s Ice Cream & Candy Co. in Washington, D.C.

The vendors will be offering a range of their usual treats, from hot dogs to ice cream.

Fox Searchlight film “(500) Days of Summer” opens in select theaters on July 17.
